Starting from September 2010 our new Classic DAKS generation will be available. Of course, we have again developed and added many new features to the new version.

Here is a list of the most important innovations of Classic DAKS V7.5x (= OScAR-Pro V3 R2):

• The 'Broadcasting/Alerting' application with an ESPA-X license (instead of the serial ESPA 4.4.4) is now also available through the SEN ordering procedures.
• The new 'Joker Access' feature makes it possible to assign situation-dependent functions to up to 10 different unvarying access numbers (e.g. a call profile in a normal situation, but an Info Telephone announcement in an emergency situation). The configuration of the alternative processes to be triggered is easily made through the Operator-Tool or via the 'DAKS Customized Operator' (DCO).

The ESPA-X interface, whose development began in the middle of 2007 in cooperation with Siemens Enterprise Communications and leading manufacturers of nurse call systems, continues to grow steadily.

More and more companies from other business areas (such as developers of BCM and logistics systems) are also interested in incorporating the ESPA-X interface into their systems.

Today, the official ESPA-X website at www.espa-x.org already lists 33 different companies that have either already developed an ESPA-X-based interface, or plan to do so in the near future.
