In close cooperation with Ascom Germany we have accomplished an intelligent incorporation of the i75 into the DAKS applications. Here, the handset not only communicates with DAKS via voice but also via the Ascom IMS module by way of the OAP protocol. The entire process utilizes the already existing telecommunications-, LAN- and WiFi radio infrastructure.

The Ascom i75 is thus a convenient telephone, emergency handset and pager all in one.

Special performance features include:

• Deliberate alarm activation by use of the built-in red alarm button
• Automatic alarm activation via man-down/no-movement detection
• In the event of an alarm: identification of the 'Visited Station' for a positioning without interpreting
• Quick convening of emergency conferences through one-button operation and 'Push-to-Talk' function
• Interactive text messages to competent responders (e.g. nurse calls, transportation jobs) via soft keys, also for user dialogs and for automatic connection buildup to DAKS, and in this way e.g. to the calling patient
