From November 10-11, 2009 tetronik and Siemens SEN jointly presented the new 'DAKS Smartphone Access' (DSA) applications with great success at the BlackBerry Innovation Forum in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.
In combination with alarm scenarios, this constitutes a decisive step to achieve more mobility – beyond and exceeding any campus limits. The question how to integrate a maximum of services in a terminal currently constitutes one of the leading and most often discussed topics in the world of telecommunications and IT. It is therefore no surprise that we at tetronik attach great importance to the development of tools that help achieve this challenging goal. The DAKS solution: The servers and terminals are upgraded and expanded with additional software – DAKS with the 'DAKS Smartphone Access Services' (DSAS), and the terminals with the 'DAKS Mobile Client' (DMC). The functions of the BlackBerry® already include telephony, SMS, internet access, and e-mail communication. With the DSA ('DAKS Smartphone Access') these functions are further amplified by the additional functionalities of the alarm communication.
