µDAKS (alternative spelling: microDAKS) is a hardware- and performance-optimized alarm- and communications server boasting an extensive functions library.
With this it serves as a platform for most diverse telecommunications tasks.
The 'µDAKS Applications Suite'
In the following you can find the first three products from the 'µDAKS Application Suite' developed on the basis of the new hardware platform, available now:
µDAKS-Alert
(in SEN environments: OScAR-Eco)
- Budget-friendly alarm and conference server for smaller alerting and conferencing tasks
- 4 channels VoIP/SIP or TDM/ISDN (S0)
µDAKS-Adapt
(in SEN environments: OScAR-Pro Satellite)
- Serial- (e.g. ESPA 4.4.4) and contact inputs-to-LAN adapter
- TCP/IP interface with (µ)ESPA-X protocol
µDAKS-Phone
- PA/remote access interface, wire tapping, control panel, microphone unit…
- 1 or 2 channels VoIP/SIP or TDM/ISDN (S0 or UK0)
In addition, the following µDAKS-based product is already being planned:
µDAKS-Gate
- Gateway, signal converter
- Up to 30 channels VoIP/SIP-(Q) or TDM/ISDN (E1/S2M, T1 or S0)

Small box, either for wall-, DIN rail-, rack mounting or as tabletop unit (165mm × 105mm × 30mm ≈ 6.5" x 4.13" x 1.18")
- LAN interface (10/100BASE-T) for data, VoIP/SIP, service and administration
- Serial asynchronous interface (RS232/RS422)
- USB service interface for terminal emulation program (⇔startup functions)
- Power-over-Ethernet from LAN switch or through looped-in PSU (PoE injector)
- Optionally also with TDM/ISDN module, either with:
1x or 2x S0 – 1x UK0 (U2B1Q or U3B4Q) – 1x or 2x S2M/T1
- Optionally also with 9 contact outputs (floating)
- Optionally also with 16 contact inputs (fed and with open circuit-/lead break detection)
- Optionally also with 2 audio inputs, 2 audio outputs (also for loudspeakers and microphones)
