DAKS® + SNOM

Snom is a European manufacturer of leading IP telephones for the professional corporate sector. The terminals developed in Germany include in particular desktop telephones, DECT mobile devices, conference solutions and headsets.

Special DAKS features have been certified for Snom terminals, which make Snom products usable for extended applications in alerting and emergency communication.

The Snom XML-API interface is used to connect the DAKS server to the Snom DECT-IP system. The tetronik-certified Snom XML-API interface is available for DAKSpro.

Integration and system support

SNOM DECT-IP infrastructure

The XML API interface supports the following functions:

  • Sending/updating and deleting interactive messages
    • with output of multi-line messages (up to 160 characters)
    • with up to 3 different colors (red/yellow/green) for alarm background color
    • with up to 6 different priority levels and message tones
    • with up to 4 softkeys (CALL/OK/REJECT/DELETE)
  • Receiving status/notify messages
