Integration and system support

Spectralink Wi-Fi

Certified Pivot/Versity Web API interface

The Spectralink Web API interface is used to connect the DAKS server to the Spectralink Android-based terminals. This interface provides two apps (Alertview/Webview) that can be used to send messages to phones and receive message history from DAKS.

Note: The IP addresses of the devices are determined using the RisPort SOAP service of Cisco Unified Communications Manager.

The Web API interface supports the following functions:

  • Text messaging
    • with 3 different ring tones
    • with output of alarm texts
    • with up to 5 soft keys (OK,POS,NEG,VOICE and CALL)
    • with call set-up to the ESPA4.4.4/ TAP/ ESPA-X initiator or to a conference
  • History function (DAKS-side)

Spectralink DECT-IP

Certified Spectralink XML-RPC interface

The XML-RPC interface is used to connect the DAKS server to the Spectralink KWS system.

The XML-RPC data interface supports the following functions:

  • Sending/updating and deleting interactive messages
    • with output of multi-line messages (up to 160 characters)
    • with up to 3 different colors (red/yellow/green)
    • with up to 3 different message tones
    • with up to 9 different priority levels
    • with up to 3 soft keys (read, accept/deny and call setup)
    • with “overrule handset settings” (volume/vibration)
    • with call setup to the ESPA 4.4.4, TAP or ESPA-X initiator, or to a conference
  • Alarm triggering
    • initiated by up to 50 different terminals (expandable to max. 200 with DAKSpro Personal Security)
    • with activation of a broadcast group depending on alarm type and personal security profile (alarm type, e.g., red button, man down, etc.)
    • with device-specific alarm text
      with localization data (transmission of visible base stations including field strengths)
  • Positioning of DECT-IP terminals
    • with output of the visited DECT IP base station (visited station) or
    • with output of the strongest received DECT IP base station
    • with possible output of DECT RSSI field strength values
  • History function (locally on the device)
  • If the data connection to the KWS system fails:Fallback to telephone alerting
  • Monitoring the data connection to the DECT-IP system
  • Personal security functionalities (personal alarm signal system)
